De selectie voor de expositie en het fotoboek is klaar!

Dit jaar ben ik met mijn camera op pad gegaan in het Griftpark om bijzondere mensen in zwart-wit vast te leggen. Nu ben ik bezig met het verwerken van de 20 foto's die ik laat afdrukken en inlijsten, en deze worden vanaf januari tot april 2026 tentoongesteld in het boerderijcafé van Griftsteede. Daarnaast komt er een fotoboek met een uitgebreidere selectie, dat in het café blijft liggen.

Zie je jouw foto op de site en wil je liever niet dat jouw foto wordt gebruikt? Laat het me dan gerust weten, dan neem ik die uit het project. Geen punt, geen discussie. Dit is van belang omdat ik mijn best heb gedaan om met alle geportretteerden in contact te komen, maar dat helaas niet bij iedereen is gelukt. Mocht je foto aan de wand komen terwijl je dat niet wilt, dan haal ik hem die zelfde dag nog voor je weg. Maar natuurlijk hoop ik dat je je vooral vereerd voelt en blij bent om mee te doen met dit project.

Here's some more information about the project and your photos.

For a year, I’ll be walking around the park with my camera to capture interesting people in black and white portraits. At the end of the year, I’ll select 20 photos to be printed and framed. These will be exhibited in the farm café at Griftsteede during the first months of 2026.

I can’t say yet whether your photo will be included. I’m looking for strong images (in terms of lighting, contrast, expression, etc.) that also work well together as a set of 20. Additionally, there will be a photobook featuring a larger selection of images, which will be available in the café. You can follow the project's progress on Instagram, or on its website www.griftparkportretten.nl.

If you don’t want your photo to be used, just let me know, and I won’t include it in the project.

In the coming months, I’ll also be creating a dedicated website for the project. I’ll keep you updated if I feature your photo there.

Throughout the year, I’ll be posting photos on Instagram, including yours—if that’s OK with you. I’ll probably tag you as a ‘contributor’ since these photos wouldn’t exist without your help.
